Digital Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to play a key role role in the delivery of our marketing strategy. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide day-to-day management of our corporate social media accounts and to coordinate the execution of digital marketing campaigns. You will ensure that all digital content, projects, and communications are delivered on time, within brand guidelines and in line with the wider business strategy.

What you'll do

  • Daily management of social media channels (especially LinkedIn and Twitter), identifying influencers, generating and curating content and engaging directly with target audiences to drive brand awareness & follower growth

  • Managing the content marketing calendar, implementing email campaigns, and supporting the development of high-quality thought-leadership content

  • Daily management of records and lists in the CRM system

  • Supporting the development of case studies, testimonials, and other marketing assets

  • Managing events and webinars

  • Regular reporting on key marketing metrics and website traffic, feeding back insights to the sales and marketing teams

  • Market and competitor research, identifying areas for growth and market trends
     

What you'll bring
 

  • A degree in Digital Marketing or a related subject is desirable but not essential

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a B2B marketing role

  • Experience of working in or with the public sector (especially housing) is desirable but not essential

  • Fully conversant with managing social media channels in a professional capacity, with proven experience of driving engagement

  • Experience in building multi-channel digital marketing campaigns

  • Good working knowledge of CRM, bulk email and CMS systems (preferably HubSpot)

  • Good working knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics.

  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to proofread and copywrite editorial and content to a high standard

  • A flair creating for visual content using online design platforms such as Canva is desirable but not essential

We offer flexible working arrangements for all our employees, in line with business needs. This role will be primarily home-based, although you should be able to attend the Oakham office on ad-hoc basis as required.
