Marketing Manager

We are GovMetric, home of the UK’s leading citizen experience platform for the public sector. With a reputation for delivering an outstanding service to our customers, we’ve achieved 30% growth in the past two years, and we’re now seeking the right people to join us as we scale-up for the most exciting chapter of our story so far.

We’re looking for a senior, data driven marketer to become the driving force behind our marketing machine—someone who can figure out what needs to get done, make a plan, and roll up their sleeves and actually do it—pivoting effortlessly between strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Working closely alongside the wider sales, account management, customer success and product teams, you’ll turbocharge lead generation and customer acquisition, helping us to deliver on our ambitious revenue and growth goals.

What you'll do

  • Create a results-driven Marketing Strategy to support our company Revenue Plan

  • Design and execute annual Marketing Plans to deliver against the Marketing Strategy

  • Plan and deliver highly effective end-to-end lead generation and customer acquisition campaigns across digital channels, including social, email and web

  • Create and coordinate compelling content, including blogs, white papers, webinars, community building etc.

  • Lead product Go-To-Market strategies and create and coordinate product content, including case studies, website copy, videos, webinars etc.

  • Spot trends, market drivers and customer requirements to inform innovative sector strategies and develop compelling and differentiated value propositions

  • Develop product positioning that translates into clear messaging

  • Get stuck in to sector events and communities to nurture strategic relationships with partners and prospects

  • Set and measure relevant KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and inform strategy over the long term

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in B2B/B2G SaaS tech marketing

  • Track record of hitting and surpassing ambitious lead generation and customer acquisition targets

  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of digital marketing

  • Fluent with marketing automation, CRM (ideally HubSpot) and marketing intelligence tools (including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager etc)

  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Solid understanding of GDPR in a marketing context

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, exciting, and collaborative environment

  • Energy, enthusiasm, passion and commercial awareness

  • Results-driven, positive, ambitious mindset

Experience in/delivering to the UK public sector and/or CXM solutions would be the icing on the cake

We offer flexible working arrangements for everyone, in line with business needs. This role is mainly home-based, although you should be able to attend our Oakham HQ and other UK locations on ad-hoc basis as required.
