Account Manager

We are GovMetric, home of the UK’s leading citizen experience platform for the public sector. With a reputation for delivering an outstanding service to our customers, we’ve achieved 30% growth in the past two years, and we’re now seeking the right people to join us as we scale-up for the most exciting chapter of our story so far.

We’re looking for a savvy SaaS tech sales professional who’ll engage with our entire customer base and maximise the value of our accounts.


Working closely alongside the wider marketing, sales and customer success teams, you’ll take ownership for developing and growing customer relationships, proactively seeking out opportunities to add value and helping us to deliver on our ambitious revenue and growth goals.
 

What you'll do

  • Deliver against revenue targets by securing renewals and upselling and cross-selling solutions across the GovMetric portfolio

  • Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers at all stages of their CX maturity journey

  • Help customers build a robust business case for ongoing CXM investment

  • Understand evolving customer needs through regular, proactive meetings and other engagement opportunities

  • Collaborate with our partners to design innovative joint solutions

  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to help customers to achieve their goals and maximise their investment in GovMetric

  • Set and measure relevant KPIs to guide tactics and inform strategy over the long term

What you'll bring
 

  • B2B/B2G SaaS tech sales, account management or customer success experience

  • Track record of hitting and surpassing customer growth targets

  • Passion for helping customers and building trusted, long-term relationships

  • Instinct for uncovering new opportunities

  • Solid understanding of the tech solutions sales cycle

  • Highly proficient with CRM (ideally HubSpot)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, exciting, and collaborative environment

  • Energy, enthusiasm, passion and commercial savviness

  • Results-driven, positive, ambitious mindset

Experience in/delivering to the UK public sector and/or CXM solutions would be the icing on the cake

We offer flexible working arrangements for everyone, in line with business needs. This role is mainly home-based, although you should be able to attend our Oakham HQ and other UK locations on ad-hoc basis as required.
